Classifying Documents of Balanced Scorecard in Japan under Four Fields from 1996 to 2021

Abstract

Almost thirty years have passed since BSC (Balanced Scorecard) was introduced. From then on, a lot of documents including papers, commentaries, and case studies about BSC have been published. In this study note, these documents are classified under four fields. Also, I discuss the future direction of research and application of BSC by using this classification.
