The textbook was changed from an authorized textbook to a textbook by a publisher of teaching materials. I have been able to do much the same with that text. The more tasks the students had to do to get the meaning of the text, the less time they had to read aloud. I feel that students need to read aloud more often both for understanding the text and for inputting English sentences, and that they are halfway through both understanding the content and inputting the text. In this school, it may be beneficial to focus more on content comprehension. This is because many students seem to have difficulty grasping the content. Students feel that they learn reasonably well even if they study using a textbook by a publisher. Most of the places that offer 90-minute classes on the contents of the first three years of high school are probably Kosen. Therefore, there are few practical examples. It will be necessary to conduct further research on the development of classes that are suited to Hiroshima Shosen.
