Bryophyte Flora of Isl. Kii-Oshima

Abstract

Bryophyte flora of Isl. Kii-Oshima (Wakayama Pref., Japan) was reported on the basis of 300 specimens collected in 1998. A total of 45 families, 82 genera, and 139 species was found on this island; they include 28 families, 57 genera, and 91 species in mosses, 16 families, 24 genera, and 47 species in liverworts, and one species in hornworts.
