Abstract

Presidential election in Taiwan to be held on January 16th, 2016 will be definitely essential, not only for the future of Taiwan , but also for the future of Asia-Pacific region including Japan.This essay is to describe and outline the current situation of the election referring to the result of the poll as well as the political history of Taiwan.In addition, this is to outline the diplomatic policy being presented by Tsai Ying Wen, who is the President of the Democratic Progress Party of Taiwan.
