Changes in the Debilitated Elderly by Takizawa Program for Rehabilitation

Abstract

Takizawa Program for Rehabilitation is carried out to the bedridden inpatients with the health care facility for the elderly by the physical therapist, where is occupied the bedridden in the majority. Improvements of the transfer and toilet activities were confirmed.
It is suggested that the rehabilitation by the program is effective against the significant cases of the function decline and also the cases passed a long time after symptoms first appeared.
