Abstract

In this paper, complex impedance locus of the triangular-shaped electrodes with immobilized λDNAs were calculated by numerical simulations. Compare with the impedance of the electrodes with immobilized λDNAs, its impedance after deoxyribonuclease (DNase) treatment were increased by about 3 times or more. The DNA molecules can be applied to electrical detection of DNase which is a candidate biomarker for acute myocardial infarction.
