Recently it is desired to design integrated active filters with low supply-voltages. This letter proposes a design of bipolar transconductance circuits with 3 V supply-voltage. This letter also proposes a synthesis of g_m-C biquad circuits using these transconductance circuits. The proposed g_m-C biquad circuits are suitable for video-band active filters. Two design examples by the leapfrog and the node-voltage simulation method are given. Spice simulations of the designed filters show the effectiveness of the proposed design.
