Abstract

The behavior of the coating material in the fluorescent lamp manufctureing proceess is described. The residual hydroxyl groups depend on the teperature rather than the heating time, and CO2 adsorbed on alumina is replaced with H2O in the air at room temperature. The formation of the bicarbonate ion HCO3-. is referred to the residual hydroxyl groups.
