Abstract
The Massachusetts Medical Information Link (MEDLINK) is a program of the Publishing Division of the Massachusetts Medical Society, publishers of the New England Journal of Medicine. MEDLINK's first project was to develop the Electronic Mail and the Interlibrary Loan System with the members of the Massachusetts Health Science Library Network (MaHSLiN). The system became operational in February 1985. This study reports the details of the MEDLINK Electronic Information Network.
