Abstract

Towelholder^[○!R] (HOGY-MT-561-2) and Mukinguard^[○!R] (HOGY-MT-561-1) were developed recently as the container of sterilized disposable towels. The safety and reliabioity of these two apparatus were studied by bacteriological method. In the Towelholder^[○!R] the towels were kept sterile for 24 hours, when the lid was closed. They were sterile for 10 minutes, when the lid was opened. Thirty attempts of opening and closing of the lid showed no bacteria grown. When Mukinguard^[○!R] was used with clean air flow, no accumulative bacteria grew over 6 hours in the apparatus. Without clean air flow, accumulative bacteria grew within 1 hour. In Mukinguard^[○!R] contamination of the towels was not found for 7 days with clean air flow. Without clean air flow, the towels were contaminated within 1 hour.
