Membrane permeation tests were carried out on Ringeri solution, Lokei solution, Ringeri solution with lactic acid and sorbitol, refined glucose solution and glucose solution with caramel etc. in order to look into the effectiveness of permeation membranes in removing pyrogens from these salt and sugar solutions and to observe their selectivity to the solutes in these solution.Permeable membranes with 50-100 Å void on the active layer of membrane surface were successfully used in this work. Consequently the Pyrogen was retained in the side of concentrate between the permeable membrane, and Pyrogen free flux was constantly holding the refined effective contents in these solutions.
