PREPARATION OF MOUSE ANTISERUM SPECIFIC FOR RABBIT β₂-MICROGLOBULIN

Abstract

Antiserum specific for rabbit β₂-microglobulin was obtained from mouse. The antiserum was used for measuring concentration of this protein in rabbit urine by electrosyneresis. Its lower limit of the detection was 50 mg/l. Excretion of urinary β₂-microglobulin in the rabbit administered sodium chromate increased temporarily and reached to the maximum (above 800 mg/l) 2 days after the administration.
