Abstract
In Japan several sorts of amino-acids mixture for the parenteral use were devised recently. Although many excellent results of their clinical use were reported chiefly from the surgical and pediatric aspects, there are a few reports of the use of these solutions in the internal diseases. For the purpose of studying the effect of aminoacids mixture on the maintenance of the nitrogen balance in the starved state, several kinds of nutritional infusions were administered to starved animals and human subjects.
