In this study, we identified various problems that arise between foreign care worker candidates and host facilities, and how to solve them. Nine foreign care workers or the candidates and six Japanese workers at three facilities in the Kanto area were interviewed about their work-related problems through a questionnaire, and interviews were conducted to clarify the details of how they solved their problems. As a results, thirteen issues and coping strategies were identified at the sites surveyed, many of which were related to Islam. The coping strategies were at least one party willing to be considerate by changing their own behavior, and a willingness to explore compromises was also observed. In the process of coping with problems arising in the field of care work, both parties comprehend the reality of the working environment, and tried to understand by respecting and complementing each other's circumstances and dignity.
