Abstract
I researched methods of analyzing and organizing "Lifelog Information". The concept of Lifelogs, which has recently become popular in the field of infomation technology, involves recording everyday life by using a wearable device which contains a camera, microphone, and GPS sensor, and using the collected data to help human memory and human activity. However, when we keep recording for some months or years, we can accumlate too much data to manage easily. Therefore, we must analyze and separate the data into important scenes. This makes it simpler to search for and retrieve specific data. In my research, I used image analysis to extract images that contained human faces from several hundred thousand pictures I collected in my Lifelog recorder. Thorough this method, I was able to construct a system to extract only those scenes where I had met with people.
