To verify a conceptual model of emotional intelligence (EI), goal attainment, and related factors, a questionnaire survey was conducted involving 127 nursing students and using 3 scales: EQS for the evaluation of EI; Nurses' Performance for Goal Attainment; and a communication skill scale. To examine factors influencing EI, the Y-G Test was employed, in addition to original question items regarding factors influencing relationships.
