Recently, I often encounters the case of tooth malalignment to accompany congenital teeth defect in the young generation. I often waver what treatment is the best to the various kinds of cases.
Genrally, Orthodontist completes the examination or treatment the burial of all the spaces between teeth and teeth. And GP are likely to do the restoration by a plane of teeth more than the necessity. I aimed to improve the treatment whose appreciation is beautiful and functional by making teeth moved in the minimal damage. However, it was not possible to achieve it easily.
But, nowadays, I am convinced that the establishment of a new treatment and the advancement of new technology made it possible to aproach the ideal state.
This time, I report the case with congenital teeth defect I have ended the treatment in eight years.
最近若い世代で先欠 (先天性歯牙欠損) をともなった歯列不正の症例に出会うことが多いように感じる.ケースバイケースであると思うが, その個人にとってどのような治療法が最良であるのか悩むことがままある.
一般的に矯正専門医はすべてのスペースをクローズして動的治療を終えることが多いし, またGPは必要以上に歯を削って補綴に持っていくことが多いであろう.私は以前から理想的に歯を動かし最小限の歯の侵襲で審美的にも機能的にも問題のない治療を目標としてきたが, なかなか実現できなかった.
今日, 新しい治療法の確立と技術の進歩により筆者のようなGPでも努力をすれば, 理想に近づくことができる時代になったと確信している.
今回, 8年間の長期にわたってやっと終了できた先欠のケースを報告したい.
