Abstract

Industrial psychologists can come from many fields and qualifications. Each qualification has its own characteristics, with some commonalities and overlaps. The activities of psychologists in the industrial field can be categorized into four main areas: understanding psychosocial factors and states, psychological counseling and interviews, consultation, and education and information provision about mental health. Support can be provided on individual, organizational, and developmental levels. This manuscript explores the activities and potential of psychologists working in the industrial field.
