Abstract


Structural change of ground alkali-feldspar (Or77Ab23) glass was investigated by XRD analysis and FTIR Raman spectroscopy. The samples became to show high density and high angle of FSDP with increase grinding. These two values showed linear relations each other.
This relation is similar to the grinding of SiO2 glass and albite glass. The densification by grinding of two alkali-feldspar glasses were smaller than that of quartz glass and influenced by the size of cation in
alkali-feldspar.
