Underground spaces are useful to be make the daily life rich for peoples especially extremely hot summer and cold winter. However, it costs much higher than its construction of same facilities on the ground. If underground spaces have already existed, those advantage might be fully applicable to the daily life. This report introduces two existing underground spaces which are research fields of the author, Underground spaces at Cappadocia area, Turley and Oya area, Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. At Cappadocia, the underground spaces are historic ruined space and newly excavating underground facilities, i.e. hotel, storage and general house. At Oya, underground spaces excavating Oya tuff as building materials have been tried to use as underground museum, storage and amusement space and so on.
