Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of cross-level interactions between individuals' Internet use and regional characteristics on local information acquisition behaviors. In this study, using a national survey data in 2009 and macro-data from official statistics, I examine the cross-level interaction effects. The results showed significant cross-level interaction effects. The regional differences of regional information gathering behaviors were discussed.
