The business confidence is one of the major indexes of business fluctuations. However a few researches have been made about the index. In this paper, we make the property of business confidence clear, through exploratory data analysis of time series data for the index. In the analysis, we compare the trends of fluctuations between observed value and estimated value of business confidence and also compare them with industrial output.
