Rethinking of the Positivism and the Potential of the Systems Approach

Abstract

In the management informatics, the research which connects the theory to the practice is important. Therefore, in order to show the correctness of the structure which the concept has, data collection for the real world and verification of the hypothesis using the statistical technique are carried out. However, unlike natural science, proposals based on logical positivism are not necessarily useful for practical practice in the real world because they are not reproducible in the field of social science, which is dominated by environmental differences and of evens. In this study, we examine what is a problem in real-world practice, and clarify how business informatics can contribute to solving the problem.
