This research aims to examine the effect of awareness for creating trust in a virtual team. Writers were recruited via crowdsourcing to writing a report. The recruited crowd-workers were formed into 8 teams of 3-member team. Communications among members were limited to text only groupware. All teams could use an awareness tool through which one can see other member's situation with a web camera image and a short text message. All participated crowd-workers answered the questionnaire about trust after the writing task was completed. The analysis results based on questionnaire and log data are discussed at the end.
