Abstract

In order to clarify the corrosion resistance of copper tube in which 80℃ hot water flows, pitting production test by constant potential polarization was attempted and pitting potential was measured. In case of pre-coated specimen and under the condition that the test water was flowing, pitting corrosion occurred. And pitting potential was present between 190 mV vs.SSE and 210 mV vs.SSE, when the chloride ion concentration is 10 mg/L to 100 mg/L.
