抄録
This paper describes one of the present activities of the Faculty of Environmental and Information Sciences. Since Cities of Yokkaichi and Tianjin are Sister Cities, our contribution to the sustainable development in Tianjin City is preferable. Based upon the result of Alkali-Soil reclamation at Shenyan City by adding gypsum, we are also to reclaim the alkali-soil at Tianjin. The soil improvement would result in economic growth through not only increasing crop production but also decreasing air pollutant such as SO_2. This paper shows additional possible projects that would enable sustainable development in the developing regions.
