Environmental School 2008 at ECO ASIA University

Abstract

The fifth Environmental School abroad was held with ECO ASIA University, Mongolia during 20-30 August 2008. Nine students and three faculties participated from Yokkaichi University. They studied Mongolian nature, especially forest degradation at the summit of mountains due to acid fog from coal combustion, and Mongolian peoples activities such as life of Ger and municipal waste and waste water treatment. The workshop was held where Japanese students introduced what they had studied at waste treatment and recycle factories by power points, while Mongolian students introduced how they think about environment protection and cleaning the city.
