Japanese freshwater Cladocera, A Zoogeographical sketch

Abstract

A total of 03 taxa belonging to 39 genera of freshwater Cladocera were identified in Japan. Recently, distribution of freshwater Cladocera from Japan has changed by influence of earth warming. The tropical and subtropical Cladocera are expanding distribution in the Japanese Islands toward the north area.
