Abstract

It is important that the interior style is “knowledgeable”, but the current situation is that it is not “standardized”. Therefore, the authors tentatively set the interior styles on the regional and the era axis, and investigated whether interior work examples by an interior coordinator can be classified into those styles. The frequency of appearance of the interior elements was investigated using the case of the interior works. Cluster analysis was performed based on the data, and the works were classified into 16 groups. The classification was shown to be consistent with the hypothetical classification in many cases. However, in some cases, different styles were mixed.
