A retrospective study of 16 cases with visual disturbances resulting from head injury, seen in our clinic between the years 1969-1972, is described. A proposed endnasal-trans-ethomoidal operative technique was performed in all cases, and the following results were obtained.1) The patients consisted of 14 males and 2 females.2) The most prominent cause of visual disorders of the present series was the accident of motor cycle crashes.3) Once blindness occurred completely, their visual powers have never recovered, even if the operation procedures were performed safely in these 6 cases except one case.4) In 10 cases of having imcomplete loss of visual power, some remarkable improvements were gained after the operation.5) Having compared the time of operation with their results, they have been no difference in the series. 6) An otologist should be consulted early in all cases of visual loss resulted from head injury.
