Abstract
Twenty patients with perennial allergic rhinitis were treated with AA-673 nasal spray for a mean period of 45 days. The global improvement rate after 4 weeks was 33% for “over moderate improvement” and 83% for “over slight improvement”. The global utility rate was 55% for “over fairly useful improvement”. The rate of improvement in those showing “over moderate improvement” was 39% for sneezing attacks, 18% for nasal discharge and 27% for nasal obstruction after 4 weeks. No side effects were observed.
It is concluded that AA-673 nasal spray is useful in the treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis.
