Concerning the oil pollution in the sea, which is increasing year after year remarkably, it is argently requested to prevent the pollution as one of the large social problems.
This paper deals with the present state of developments in research and practical applications on booms, skimmers, absorbent materials, emulsifying dispersants and burning methods for the discharged oil.
