To develop a system for evaluating output stability accurately in total luminous flux measurements of an LED light, we proposed an output time characteristic model for an LED illuminant and verified the model accuracy. Verification was performed by developing a system for measurement and a program using the existing total-luminous-flux measurement system for commercial LED bulbs. As a result, the suggested model and the experimental data showed a strong correlation, making it reasonable to apply the suggested model. Using this model, we can make predictions of steady-state values of total-luminous-flux, and we can evaluate stability more precisely.
