Abstract

The 100-year-old, red-brick building, Tokyo Station was recently preserved and restored. The lighting design concept is "Peaceful Scenery". This gentle and dramatic nightscape has been completed by ecological and precise lighting methods with collaboration among the clients, contractors and lighting designers. Suitable lighting source for each architectural material was carefully selected and LED was adapted for all 100% fixtures. Tokyo station shows a good example of facade lighting which is called "makeup for beautiful lady".
