The Technical Trends of Road Lighting(<Feature>Lighting Coordinations of Road and Car for Our Goal of Further Traffic Safety)

Abstract

This section describes standards of road lighting and the technical trends of road and tunnel lighting with their transitions. Road lighting involves continuous illumination, intersection, pedestrian crossing and tollgate. The luminaire arrangement of road lighting has been designed by silhouette vision generally. There is a potential for improvement of traffic safety when we design including reverse-silhouette vision and use LED.
