Our country sent in 1949 the photometric standard lamps for horizontal luminous intensity, both 105V 15cd 2042°K lamps, and 105V 30cd 2353°K lamps, to “Bureau International des Poids et Mesures” in France.
But these lamps had the defects-the trouble of broken anchors in transporting, and the unstability in using, causing many anchors touched to or aparted from the lamp's filament.
The new photometric standard lamps have been recently made by Tokyo Shibaura Electric Co., improving these defects, and have a stability in using and transporting as a standard lamp.
This is described about these improved points and technical problems in lamp making.
