With the liberalization of electricity and gas, consumers are able to select the type of power company and power source. Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, in addition to conventional hydro, thermal and nuclear power, renewable energy has become an option with a growing interest in security. The amount of electricity generated by renewable energy has also increased sharply. On the other hand, it is expected that electricity charges will increase. We examine how young people are making decisions about the choice of power supply from various factors using analytic hierarchical analysis (AHP).
