Recently, the government and municipality works on the landscape improvement of the port in which it gave priority to industrial function. Then, in this research, first, it grips the composition element of impressive port environment from Japanese poem, and based on it, evaluate the space composition and possibility of landscape regeneration in the HAKATA port. Concretely, it set up 15 areas based on the mouth of a river valley, and, investigate the space composition of port landscape in this areas. The port landscape element is set as greenery zone, waterside line, beach, and mooring facilities etc based on having gripped Japanese poem and possibility of landscape regeneration. Then, it evaluate the space composition of port landscape in this areas according to those existence rates. As a result, it show the feature of the area, for instance, area in which greenery zone specialized, or where a lot of ships are seen.
