ワンウェイ自転車路の設計について

抄録

In this report, I introduced the design of 1?way Bikeway on the Michigan State University campus.
I heard that the purpose of the 1-way Bikeway on the M. S. U. campus is to keep the impact of the Bikeway on the landscape to a minimum, and to keep speeds lower for rider's safe.
Also, I've heard and appreciated that it has some good points:
1) it's possible to plan the route which rider can contact with trees and shrubs more friendly,
2) it's possible to prevent from cutting a big tree in the wooded area by the excellent route planning with a narrow bike-way; and so on.
I feel in Japan 1-way Bikeway has not been constructed, however I think it should be appreciated the good points enough and applicated considering Japanese conditions.
