The meaning of community, green plan and landscape of residential district was discussed from the view point of landscape planning. The concept of community has been changed since 1970's. The discussion from opposite idea, urban community and rural community, is not available for looking over people orientation. We have more and more imaginary community oriented young men and women these days. So, it is much more important for making landscape plan to discuss from how to make up community in residential district. Community landscape is global presentation of regional natural condition and people life style. Community landscape is classified from the difference of main constituent who makes community and the difference of objective feature of landscape. Onymous-anonymous and ecology-amenity are two axes of making classification. The typical community landscape are following four ; Newly developed residential area having pedestrian way or plaza. Roadside plantings in downtown. Artificially made biotop in green space. Wood and farm land in urban fringe.
