Abstract
In this paper, a novel zero current switching (ZCS) high frequency inverter using DC reactor (DCL) as a resonance was developed for the induction heating system which reduces the particulate matter (PM) exhausted from diesel engine. The effects of DCL for ZCS characteristics with reactor ratio was experimentally investigated. On the basis of the numerical analysis of the ZCS characteristics, the high frequency power supply was designed. Through the PM combustion in induction heating system, the ZCS high frequency inverter and induction heating system were estimated and studied.
