Development of Interactive Economic Loss Estimation Model Bsased on the Strategic Planning for Disaster Reduction

Abstract

The investment planning after the disaster have a significant impact on the economic and finance situatuion in the affected area over the long term.This paper provides the interactive economic loss estimation model which are composed of three factors, that is, infrasstructure needs, extinguishment of property and decrease in population,based on the strategic planning. We could verity conformance with time series economic data(GRP) after the Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake Disaster. We tried to apply this model to the Tokai Earthquake under the three defferent scenarios, the strategic planning suitable for each senario was examined.
