Colloidal crystals have attracted world wide interests as photonic crystals constructed through a bottom-up process. Knowledge of crystal growth field would be very useful for developing fabrication technology of colloidal crystals. This symposium aims at activating studies on fabrication of colloidal crystals from the crystal growth point of view.
