Abstract
Mating time of Autographa nigrisigna was examined. Copulated individual increased to 79.8% on 3 days after emergence at 20°C. Copulation was observed to occur from 2.5hr after light off and showed a peak at 4.5hr under 16L-8D. Copulations were observed earlier when they were kept under continuous light and moved to dark than under 16L-8D. Bioassay of sex pheromone in a wind tunnel required from 0.01 to 0.1 female equivalent of sex pheromone extract.
