Abstract

What is a difference between two types of "Shu-gyo" (修業) and (修行)? The answer to this question is that; the intention of the former is to complete a course of practice usually in order to enjoy individual benefits, while the latter requires us to pursue the individual ideas by following the way opened by pioneers who have spiritually enlightened, without asking for nothing back and adhering closely to material losses and gains. The ultimate goal of traditional Japanese material-art training (修行) is the development of character. The author always sets his final goal to attain good health together with grace and dignity.
