For the purpose of the intensive use of seedbed and the mechanization of seeding operation, we studied the irregularity of seeding of seeds of “Sugi” and “Hinoki”. The results obtained are as follows:
1. The operator can seed in a few operation hour. And the irregularity of seeding is generally scarce.
2. The young and old operator have many irregularity than the manhood. But the former's operation hour is shorter than the latter.
3. The relation between N (number of seed per one second) and V (Coefficient of variation of seeding) is as follows: V=a+bN
4. Judging from the ability of the present operator, we convinced that there is no necessity of using of the seeding-machine. Because in the present seeding method, the irregularity of seeding is generally scarce.
5. If we can conduct completely cleaning of seeds and the germinating rate becomes higher than at present, we must study on the improvement of seeding-machine.
