Verruciform xanthoma occurring at the border of the hard-soft palate in a 58-yearold female is presented. It is a rare lesion of the oral cavity which usually has a warty or papillary appearance. In 1971 Shafer first described in details its clinical and histopathological features. In Japan the first case was reported by Kikuchi et al. in 1977. Since then twenty cases have been reported.
This article reports one case of Verruciform xanthoma, itslight and electron microscopic findings together with some considerations on literatures concerned in Japan.
