Abstract
Pleomorphic adenoma is the most frequently occurring type of tumor in the salivary glands, and for that of the major salivary glands, the parotid gland is the favorite site. The soft palate is the favorite site for pleomorphic adenoma in the minor salivary glands and the cheek is held to be a relatively rare site for its development. The formation of a grossly apparent large cyst has been ill-documented to date. Our experience with one case of pleomorphic adenoma with the formation of a large cyst in the cheek, is presented in the paper.
