A Virtual Reality System was introduced into the Education and Training Course. This system covers a 2hr lesson in the safe handling of radioisotopes. Students took this course with great interest. Questionnaires revealed that they learned how to handle radioisotopes safely. Some students, however, did not understand he meaning of the experiments, because they did not know the kind of radiation from radioisotopes used. It was suggested that the system combined with an effective lecture would have a greater effect.
