Roentgenography of the chest is generally performed by the use of the coefficient of the chest thickness. However, the roentgenograph of a defiinite density can cometimes be not obtained when the chest thickness measured at only one point is referred to, because there is individual difference of absorption. Some reports have been made on this problem. In our roentgenography, we compute the chest thickness from measurements at two points, and furthermore we sometimes correct this by measurements at three points. By this means we have obtained satisfactory results.
